Christmas with the Freddys
After our wild Christmas morning, we always put the kids down for naps (well, what few kids still nap at this point HAHAA). As soon as they wake up we pack them in the car and head over to Aaron's parents' house to spend Christmas evening with that side of the family. We always have a fun (crazy, but fun!) time! :)

Now we always try to attempt a picture of the cousins. Even up until last year, it went alright. The bigger kids were still little. The little kids were even littler. We could at least try to keep them all confined to one place.

Now, not so much.

"Everyone look at Auntie K and smile!"

"Grant, look over here!"
"Eli, SMILE!"
"Kyla, look up!"
"Say CHEEEESE!"

OK - let's try again.

"Everyone look at Auntie K!"

"Eli! Isaiah! Grant! Look over here!"
"Tiana, leave your dress alone!"
"Kyla, look up!"

Last try...

"Everyone look at Auntie K!"

"awww, forget it. Everyone just make a goofy face!"
Here's my sister-in-law Melody & my nephew

My brother-in-law thought it would be great fun to get all the kids to yell as loudly as they could. HAHASo as you can see, it was a fun evening!

Fast forward to two days later where we had another Christmas with more of that side of the family! My boys especially love this part of Christmas because it means there are the QUADS (ie: Aaron's cousins who are quadruplettes - but for the boys the term "the Quads" also includes the two other cousins who aren't part of the original four). All those kids makes for LOUD wild times, but so much fun :)

The first thing they wanted to do when we got there was to try out their new laser tag guns that they'd gotten for Christmas

My nephew Isaiah tried to get in on the action...
Grant thought he'd better hide behind a tree to stay safe...
Eli runs for cover as he's being shot at by...
team Ryan/Dad. You can run, but you can't hide.
Tiana, my niece & one of "the Quads" trying to avoid the enemy fire.

Little Theo. He can hang in there with the best of them. And he also knows how to work dogs.

We had some gift opening festivities and played some games and had a really great time. :)

And with that, Christmas is officially over! Or is it....
